Since 1983, Pasadena Media, a 501(c)3 nonprofit benefit corporation has inspired dialogue, fostered freedom of expression and continues to bridge diverse communities. Our purpose is to promote, coordinate, facilitate, produce and assist public service programming on behalf of all public and community access channels.
We also operate Pasadena's community media training center and television studio. Pasadena Media provides free to low-cost media production training to all who are interested in learning the ends and out of television production. To get started take our brief orientation and tour where you will learn about the history of community access and how it operates in Pasadena. Students will receive a tour of the production facilities and get a basic introduction to the different pieces of equipment involved in creating a program for airing on The Arroyo Channel. Classes contain hands-on training and basic theory on equipment operations. We do offers more in-depth training through our advanced training programs and one-on-one sessions.
